DeWitt Public Schools has cancelled its optional mini lesson on gender pronouns for first graders.
The story surfaced after Michigan News Source obtained a letter sent home to parents at Schavey Road Elementary stating the lesson would “share and explore pronouns” and discuss what to do if students make a mistake with pronouns.”
