• Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) praised President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) debt ceiling bill on Wednesday, claiming Republicans got “huge wins” in the new bill.
• “I speak the truth. Always have,” Greene tweeted. “And the truth is: Republicans have huge wins in this fight.”
• Greene claimed the new bill eliminates large portions of 2023 funding for the IRS, and she said it allows the GOP to punish “Anthony Fauci, former FBI director James Comey, and former CIA Director John Brennan” by defunding “their” retirement. It also cuts funding from the Green New Deal and defunds self-proclaimed “sanctuary cities,” she said.
