- NASCAR driver Cody Ware was arrested Monday in in North Carolina, then suspended indefinitely from the car racing league.
- The 27-year -old Ware was reportedly taken into custody by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at about 10:30 a.m. and charged with felony “assault by strangulation-inflict serious injury” and misdemeanor assault on a female.
- According to a police report obtained by The Associated Press, the arrest in in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident on or about April 3.
