Nashville Parents Fight To Keep Boys Out Of All-Girls School

• Harpeth Hall has been an elite all-girls school since the 1800s.
• Parents want to keep it that way. In a letter to the school, they wrote, “selects and develops girls across a wide spectrum of backgrounds, but only girls, girls at birth who also identify as girls today.”
• The parents also were upset that the school “failed to include us in the process of considering such major change.”
