The NFL is set to host its third “Night of Pride” event during Super Bowl week in Las Vegas, collaborating with the Gay, Lesbian, Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and presented by Smirnoff on Wednesday, February 7.

The league announced the inclusion of a live performance by singer-songwriter VINCINT, along with a panel discussion focusing on LGBTQ inclusion in sports. The panel will feature former Browns defensive end Carl Nassib, who made history as the first active NFL player to come out as gay and play in a game.

The event aims to celebrate LGBTQ fans and promote visibility at the Super Bowl and throughout the season. GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis expressed the commitment to creating inclusive spaces for all fans, emphasizing the importance of highlighting LGBTQ leaders in sports.

NFL’s Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Jonathan Beane, noted that the third annual “Night of Pride” strengthens the league’s efforts to support the LGBTQ community and ensure inclusivity in football.

Described as an evening of music, cocktails, and interview-style conversations, the event will bring together the NFL family and partners to showcase advancements in LGBTQ inclusion in professional sports.

The NFL reiterates its commitment to LGBTQ former and current players, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to make football accessible to everyone.
