NJ Mayor, Entire City Council Switching From Dems To Republicans

  • The mayor and the entire city council of a New Jersey township have reached their limit with the Democratic Party and are switching to the GOP.
  • East Hanover Mayor Joseph Pannullo and all four members of the township council will switch parties in the town of 11,105 people, the New Jersey Globe is reporting.
  • Joining Pannullo in bolting the Democrats for the GOP are Council President Frank DeMaio, Jr, Councilwoman Carolyn Jandoli, and Councilmen Brian Brokaw, Sr. and Brian Martorelli. Pannullo has been mayor for 16 years.
