Caitlin Clark and No. 1 seed Iowa women’s basketball begun their 2024 NCAA Tournament journey Saturday with a win against No. 16 seed Holy Cross.

The score was Iowa 91, Holy Cross 65.

The game was played in Iowa City, Iowa.

Clark is the long-range shooting sensation who in the regular season became the all-time NCAA basketball leading scorer.

She scored 27 points – 8-0f-19 from the field and 3-of-9 from 3-point range.

Iowa now plays the winner of the Princeton vs. West Virginia game
