Not Me! White House Denies Twitter Censorship Involvement

  • The White House on Friday denied it had anything to do with Twitter’s effort to censor conservative voices.
  • This week, Twitter CEO Elon Musk fired Jim Baker, a former FBI general counsel involved in the investigation of former President Donald Trump in the Russiagate scandal, as the company’s top attorney.
  • “So, it’s up to private companies to make these kinds of decisions,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “We were not involved; I can say that.”
