• “It’s not like some high school romance here,” said John Kirby, the communications coordinator at the National Security Council, when asked about the Saudi’s comment.
• This all stems from a dust-up between the two countries after the Saudis decided to cut oil production.
• The Biden Administration privately had lobbied the Saudis to increase oil production at least through the midterm elections.
