The Screen Actors Guild held its awards ceremony Saturday night in Los Angeles to honor the best film and TV performances of the year.

The big winners were the film “Oppenheimer,” the epic about the making of the atomic bomb that has dominated this year’s awards season, and “The Bear,” the FX and Hulu streaming series.

“Oppenheimer” is expected to win Best Picture at the Oscars next month, and its cast includes such Hollywood heavyweights as Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr.

The SAG awards returned in 2024, following the SAG-AFTRA strike that halt Hollywood productions for months.

Other winners Saturday night included  “The Holdovers” film actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph and “Killers of the Flower Moon” film performer Lily Gladstone.
