Portuguese Police Resume Search For Madeleine McCann

  • Police in Portugal on Tuesday resumed their search for missing British child Madeleine McCann, who disappeared from a resort in 2007.
  • Around 20 officers, using rakes and other digging tools, searched a patch of land near a dam about 30 miles from where McCann disappeared 16 years ago, the Associated Press reported. It is not clear if progress has been made in the search.
  • Portuguese police are leading the operation with help from German and British law enforcement.
