- The price of whole chicken wings was listed at $2.65 per pound on Jan. 6 this year. That’s a decrease of almost $1 compared to February last year when the price per pound for chicken wings was $3.38. The decrease in price comes as the supply of chickens reaches the highest level it has been at since the start of 2019, according to Wells Fargo.
