Prominent Republicans Pushing For McDaniel’s Ouster At RNC

- Pressure is mounting on RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel following the GOP’s disappointing performance in the midterm elections.
- McDaniel recently announced that she will be running for another term. She has held this position since 2017 and a majority of RNC members support her.
- But pushback is mounting within the party.
- “I think we got to ask ourselves, why we’re not winning,” South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said. “We had a rough election cycle as well as the previous one to this where we lost the Senate, the House and the White House. Now that we underperformed in this election cycle, we need to look at what we’re doing and why we’re not winning. Frankly, I’m sick of having those types of situations.”
