- A Houston mechanic was ambushed and killed by a former client due to a dispute over a $500 bill just days before Christmas.
- 29-year-old Luis Manuel Casillas was shot dead, and sister Sandy Casillas told ABC13 that witnesses told her he’d gotten into an argument with a customer who’d used him to repair his truck who returned with five other individuals and refused to pay the bill.
- Casillas said her brother was shot in the head at point blank range. Police have not identified any suspects and no arrests have been made.
