‘Rick And Morty’ Co-Creator Ousted Over Domestic Violence Charge

  • The animated show “Rick and Morty” posted a note to Twitter on Tuesday saying that Adult Swim “has ended its association with Justin Roiland,” co-creator and star of the popular adult cartoon show, according to Deadline.
  • Roiland is facing felony domestic violence charges.
  • “Roiland has been charged with one felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit by the Orange County District Attorney’s office,” Deadline reported.
  • Adult Swim said that “Ricky and Morty” will continue.
