Santos Pleads Not Guilty, Released On $500K Bond

New York Republican Rep. George Santos pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to multiple charges, including financial fraud and stealing campaign funds.

The allegations suggest that Santos misled donors, lied to Congress, and collected undeserved unemployment benefits.

Santos, 34, surrendered to authorities on Wednesday and was later released on a $500,000 bond following his arraignment at a Long Island federal courthouse.
