SCOTUS To Hear Case, On Hold Until February

- The Supreme Court will continue to allow a block on the Biden administration’s federal student loan forgiveness problem for at least the next several months, setting a February date to hear oral arguments for and against it.
- In a brief order on Thursday, the Court said it would “allow the case to be argued in the February 2023 argument session.”
- A request to vacate a lower court injunction against the $400 billion loan forgiveness plan was “deferred pending oral argument,” the order noted.
