Students Raise Money For 80-Year-Old Janitor To Retire

- The three students — Banner Tidwell, Marti Yousko and Greyson Thurman — posted a video on TikTok showing Mr. James cleaning the halls. Attached to the video was a GoFundMe aiming to help Mr. James continue to live comfortably.
- “It’s just so sad seeing an 80-year-old man having to do things an 80-year-old shouldn’t have to do,” said Tidwell.
- The students raised $10,000 in just 12 hours with most of the donations coming from other students at the school.
