- American pro tennis legend Pete Sampras says his wife has been battling ovarian cancer for roughly the past 12 months and is asking for “good thoughts and prayers.”
- Sampras, a 14-time Grand Slam champion, made the revelation in a statement shared Sunday on social media by the ATP Tour.
- The retired pro also said his wife of roughly 23 years, Bridgette Wilson, is on a “healing journey.”
