Trump Back In Florida Court

Former President Donald Trump appeared before Judge Aileen Cannon for a hearing regarding his possession of classified documents after his White House tenure.

The hearing’s focus lies on the establishment of protective measures for the sensitive information found within the seized records. Although Trump’s attendance is permitted, the hearing at the Fort Pierce Court house is not open to Walt Nauta and Carlos de Oliveira—Trump’s co-defendants—or to the public, including about 30 Trump supporters who gathered outside the courtroom.

Appointed by Trump, Judge Cannon will interface exclusively with the defense team from morning until early afternoon, a timeframe during which the Department of Justice’s prosecutors will not be present.

This critical discussion occurs within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), ensuring that the classified materials are shielded from unauthorized listening or access.
