Trump Lawyer Tacopina Says, ‘Not His Social Media Consultant,’ But Bragg Post ‘Ill-Advised’

  • Donald Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, on Sunday attempted to distanced himself from his client’s social media and other attacks on Alvin Bragg, as the Manhattan district attorney considers criminal charges against his client.
  • “I’m not his social media consultant,” Tacopina said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”
  • However, Tacopina acknowledged one post last week, apparently the one in which the former president was holding a baseball bat, that it thought it was “ill-advised” and that one of social media people put up the post and Trump quickly took it down upon realized “the rhetoric and the photo that was attached to it.”

  • “I’m not going to defend or condemn anything regarding social media. That’s not what I do,” Tacopina also said. “I’m not a Trump PR person. I’m a litigator and a lawyer, and I’m talking about this case in Manhattan.”
