Carlson ‘Certainly Contender’ to Be Trump’s Vice President, Don Jr. Says

Voting Machines Defamation Lawsuit

During a recent appearance on Newsmax, Donald Trump Jr. addressed rumors of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson being selected as his father’s running mate for the upcoming presidential election. When asked by anchor Rob Finnerty about the validity of these rumors, Trump Jr. suggested that it was a possibility, given the close relationship between his father and Carlson.

Although it is not yet clear if this speculation will become reality, it is notable that Carlson has emerged as a leading voice among conservatives, with a massive following and a penchant for expressing controversial, but widely appealing viewpoints. His immense popularity and influence have made him an attractive option for the elder Trump, who is eager to rally support and secure another term in office.

“You need someone who’s in alignment, as well as, like, aggressive. You actually need a fighter,” Junior said. “The Republicans in Washington, D.C., are weak. You can have the House, the Senate, and they’ll still roll over.”

One person Junior would not like to see on his father’s ticket? “I would do whatever I could to make sure it wasn’t Nikki Haley!” he said. “That’s my opinion, I don’t make these decisions. But your father listens to you, maybe more than anybody else,” Finnerty said.

“I’ve been pretty involved in the political game for quite some time and I think, you know, more importantly I live with the base. I hang out with the base, those are my people, those are my friends,” Don Jr. said.

However, it remains to be seen if Carlson is willing to accept the role of vice president, or if he will continue to serve in his current role as a commentator and journalist. For now, only time will tell whether or not this partnership will come to fruition, and what impact it will have on the presidential race.
