- Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Sears had some harsh words for Donald Trump, saying in an interview with Fox Business “I could not support him. I just couldn’t…We have a clear mission, and it is time to move on.”
- Sears cited the relative underperformance of candidates who had his endorsement compared to those who didn’t.
- “Why do we want to win elections? It’s because we’ve got to learn to love each other, live together, govern together. And the voters are saying enough is enough,” she said.
