- Putin claimed that Russia hadn’t issued threats to use nuclear weapons but instead, had responded to nuclear “blackmail” from Western leaders.
- Kyiv dismissed Putin’s remarks, with Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Pololyak tweeting, “Any Putin’s speech can be described as ‘for Freud.’”
