This discovery casts doubts on the prior narrative about the pipe bombs allegedly positioned near both the DNC and the Republican National Committee (RNC) on the eve of the tumultuous day. The FBI had previously indicated that the devices were planted approximately at 8 p.m. on January 5, yet they remained unnoticed until the following afternoon, which coincidentally aligned with the moment the Capitol experienced unauthorized entry.
Enhancing the intrigue, the video disclosed by Barry Loudermilk, Chair of the House Committee on Administration Oversight Subcommittee, indicates the presence of the bomb-detection dog in the vicinity of the DNC, ostensibly separate from the security detail for then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. Captured at 9:29 a.m., the canine and its handler were seen approaching the DNC, with the dog briefly inspecting an area close to where the alleged explosive device was positioned.
Further scrutiny ensued at 9:44 a.m. when a small SUV entered the DNC premises. The dog was observed investigating the vehicle, sniffing around its doors under the guidance of its handler. Upon receiving no signal from the canine, the vehicle was granted access into the DNC.
