• An elderly man jumped to his death from the roof of a luxury Manhattan apartment building on Thursday, marking the third senior citizen suicide in the Big Apple in just 24 hours.
• New York City police say the 73-year-old man plunged from the roof of the 63-story condominium tower on  50 West Street at around 10.30am, and was found lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive.
• The unidentified man sustained ‘injuries indicative of falling from an elevated position,’ police said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
