  • Gov. Evers sounded unenthusiastic about a visit from his party’s leader: “As for the value of campaigning with the president or not, I’ll let the people of Wisconsin figure that out.”
  • He’s not the only one. Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who’s running for Senate, didn’t even mention Biden in a statement about the Labor Day event.
