- An 82-year-old New York woman was found gasping for air at a funeral home nearly three hours after she was pronounced dead on Saturday, authorities said.
- The woman was pronounced dead at the Water’s Edge Rehab and Nursing Center in Port Jefferson in Long Island, N.Y., at 11:15 a.m.
- After her death, she was taken to the O.B. Davis Funeral Home, four miles away from the nursing home. However, at 2:09 p.m. staff found that she was breathing, authorities said.
