‘World’s Oldest Dog,’ Pebbles, Dies At 22

The toy fox terrier, Pebbles, became the oldest living dog in the world in May 2022

  • Pebbles, the toy fox terrier and oldest living dog in the world, peacefully passed away from natural causes at her home in South Carolina on Monday at 22 years old.
  • “There was never anyone who met Pebbles that didn’t love her,” her owners said.
  • Throughout her life, Pebbles had 32 puppies with her partner, Rocky, who died in 2016, but with whom she “shared many years of companionship.”
