61% Say Public Education Is On Wrong Track

• The annual Schooling in America survey by EdChoice found that 61 percent of Americans believe public education is moving in the wrong direction.
• The survey also found that 76 percent of parents support parental choice programs such as education savings accounts.
• Those numbers aren’t necessarily surprising. EdChoice noted that in 2013, 62 percent of Americans thought public education was on the wrong track.
