Trump Blast Biden For Visiting Ukraine, Not Ohio On Presidents Day

Former President Trump like other Republican politicians has seized on the HAZMAT Ohio train derailment as an opportunity to spotlight what he and others consider a failure by the Biden administration to adequately respond to the recent accident.

  • Trump on Monday criticized President Biden for spending Presidents Day with Ukrainians rather than those impacted by the derailment earlier this month in East Palestine, Ohio, that resulted in the release of toxic chemicals including vinyl chloride, which posed a short- and long-term danger to the environment.
  • “Those are great people, and they were abandoned,” Trump said  in an interview  the “Just the News, No Noise” TV  show on Real America’s Voice network.
  • Biden has yet to visit the residents of East Palestine – more than two weeks after a train derailed, caught fire and spewed toxic chemicals into the environment, killing animals and fish and raising worries about contamination of air and drinking water.
  • No death have been reported as a result of the accident.
  • Trump, who is running for president again in 2024, will be visiting Ohio on Wednesday.
