Florida Democrats are fuming over a plan to name a road in Hernando County after the late and legendary Rush Limbaugh.

The legislation listed roughly two dozen personalities whose names could be put on roadways, with Limbaugh being far and away the most prominent figure.

Democrats were upset that Limbaugh was picked over the late astronaut Sally Ride, though her name will be placed on a new causeway in Brevard County. Limbaugh’s supporters pointed to the fact that he donated tens of millions of dollars to charity during his lifetime.
