House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN), the third-ranking Republican in the House, has joined the call for the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, becoming the highest-ranking GOP leader to do so.
In an interview with Breitbart News on Friday, Emmer stated, “This, to me, is the greatest malfeasance, and malfeasance is—it’s not a failure to act—it’s an intentional failure to act. Mayorkas should be impeached.”
Emmer emphasized the seriousness of the matter, asserting that discussions surrounding impeachment should take place, regardless of the actions of the Senate.
