- Security personnel intervened to restrain Freeman, which appeared to escalate the situation, leading the Alabama State player to react. While still wearing his helmet, Freeman swiftly threw a right-handed punch, striking the security guard directly in the face, prompting an immediate response from the guard who clutched the affected area.
