All 12 Children Injured In KC Super Bowl Parade Shooting Have Been Released From Hospital

All 12 children treated at a hospital for injuries sustained in the deadly Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade shooting have been discharged as of Saturday.

The 12 were taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Overland Park, just south of Kansas City, following the mass shooting Wednesday.

Nine were treated for gunshot wounds.

“We have great news to share,” a hospital spokesperson said, “all patients have been discharged.”

One person was killed in the melee, Lisa Lopez-Gavlan, a 43-year-old mother of two and Chiefs fan.

At least 39 people in total were injured, 23 by gunshot, in the dispute that police say started with a dispute.
