Bannon Appeals Conviction, Sentencing For Contempt Of Congress
The former Trump White House strategist was found guilty in July on two counts of contempt of Congress.

- The D.C. Court of Appeals last month sentenced Bannon, 68, to four months in prison and a fine of $6,500.
- Bannon was found guilty after failing to comply with Jan. 6 committee subpoenas to testify and turn over related materials.
- “Remember, this illegitimate regime, their judgment day is on 8 November, when the Biden administration ends,” Bannon said after filing his appeal Friday as several onlookers reportedly yelled, “traitor.”
