Biden Issues Third Veto; Clings To Radical Climate Change Agenda

President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday his third veto to reject legislation passed by the U.S. Congress aimed at revoking exemptions granted to Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam from American tariffs on imported solar panels.

The exemptions, authorized by President Biden in June 2022, were implemented for a two-year period. These countries account for approximately 80% of the United States solar panel supplies.

Biden asserted that the waivers serve as a temporary measure, allowing U.S. manufacturing to scale up sufficiently to meet the domestic demands necessary for achieving climate change goals.
