• Communist China now has a greater number of long-range, nuclear-capable missile launchers than the United States, according to House Armed Services Committee Chair Mike Rogers (R-Ala.).
• In a hearing on the threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to the United States, Rogers said, “The CCP is rapidly expanding its nuclear capability.” He added, “They have doubled their number of warheads in two years. We estimated it would take them a decade to do that.”
• A January 26, 2023 memo from current U.S. Strategic Command leader General Anthony Cotton confirmed that the CCP has more ICBM launchers than the U.S., but has not surpassed the U.S. in the number of nuclear warheads equipped to the launchers, nor actual ICBMs.
