- A University of South Carolina student was fatally shot early Saturday mornin while trying to enter the wrong home near the campus, in what the dwellers apparently thought was an attempted robbery.
- The student has been identified as 20-year-old Nicholas Anthony Donofrio, a sophomore from Connecticut.
- Donofrio reportedly lived on the same street as the house he entered.
