- A second law enforcement agency has fired a San Antonio cop who was dismissed in 2016 for handing a homeless man a sandwich with feces in the center.
- Following disciplinary action at the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) for the “fecal sandwich” incident, Matthew Luckhurst was hired by the Floresville Police Department (FPD), also in Texas.
- “This was a vile and disgusting act that violates our guiding principles of ‘treating all with integrity, compassion, fairness and respect,’” said San Antonio Police Chief William McManus in reference to the 2016 incident.
