Deadly Double Dare: 2 Teens Die After Being Challenged To Jump Off Bridge

Two high school students drowned last Saturday after jumping off a South Carolina bridge over a challenge from friends in a group chat, according to a report published by The New York Post.

The bodies of Rayan Alnasser, 16, and Zakaria Chaar, 15, both students at DW Daniel High School, were recovered from Lake Hartwell on Monday after attempting the deadly challenge.

Prompted by chat friends, one of the teens jumped from the Twelve Mile River Bridge and “immediately went into distress,” Pickens County Sheriff’s Office deputies told Fox Carolina.
