According to a report released on Thursday, the health issues affecting Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) are more severe than previously disclosed.

The 89-year-old senator is reportedly experiencing vision and balance impairments, along with facial paralysis known as Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The syndrome resulted from her shingles infection spreading to her face and neck, as shared by sources cited in The New York Times. Furthermore, the sources revealed that Feinstein has developed encephalitis, a condition characterized by inflammation of the brain, which can give rise to complications such as memory loss, language difficulties, and confusion.
