Tragedy struck off the coast of Alaska on Sunday when a luxury charter fishing boat capsized, resulting in the death of one individual and leaving four others unaccounted for.

Following a distress call from Kingfisher Charters, a fishing charter company based in Sitka, the Coast Guard initiated a search operation for the missing group on Sunday evening. The call reported that a boat carrying five individuals had failed to return.

On Monday, Petty Officer Ian Gray confirmed that authorities had located the body of a deceased man. Disturbingly, he was found without a life vest. The search for the remaining missing individuals continues.
