According to an exclusive statement by a spokesperson for the anti-CCP New Federal State of China (NFSC), they commented on a lawsuit that exposes the Chinese government’s access to US data held by ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.
The spokesperson stated, “In order to take down America, the CCP must completely deconstruct fundamental American values.”
On May 15, The New York Post reported on a lawsuit filed by Yintao “Roger” Yu, who claimed to have been terminated from his role as the head of engineering for ByteDance’s US operations after expressing criticism of the company’s actions to his superiors. Yu asserted that ByteDance promotes Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda through its US-based TikTok app.
