The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute benefit gala was held Monday night in New York City.
This year’s exhibition in conjunction with the gala is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
Actresses Jennifer Lopez wowed on the red carpet, which unofficially begins the event, with a silver “naked” gown.
Others attending the event this year are Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, actress Pamela Anderson and singer Doja Cat.
Roughly 1,000 pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated outside of the event.
Along with Lopez, this years c0-chairs are actors Chris Hemsworth and Zendaya and singer Bad Bunny. As always, Vogue‘s Anna Wintour is at the helm at the Costume Institute benefit.
