Mike Lindell Eats At CA Restaurant; Social Media Melts Down

  • The staff at Tres Chiles Picosos, a Mexican restaurant in Northern California, was excited when MyPillow founder Mike Lindell showed up for lunch.
  • Some of the staffers knew Lindell because they bought his products. So they asked to take a picture with Lindell, and posted it on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
  • The staffers didn’t know anything about Lindell’s politics or his investigation into the 2020 election.
  • “I don’t get into politics,” said Michelle Hill, the restaurant’s owner. “We knew nothing about him apart from that he’s the MyPillow guy … my staff buys his pillows, his sheets, his socks, they were just excited to see someone famous.”
  • Hill soon began to get blowback on the Facebook and has received threatening calls in recent days, but she has no plans to take down the photo.
  • “This was the first person that had come into the restaurant that they had seen on TV,” Hill said. “They probably would’ve taken a photo with Biden, or Trump, or Martha Stewart or George Clooney if they had come in … this had zero to do with politics.”
