The attorneys general of New York and California disclosed that they are investigating accusations of workplace discrimination at the NFL based on lawsuits filed by employees alleging sex, age, and racial bias, sexual harassment, and a hostile work environment.

New York’s Attorney General Letitia James and California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta stated that they have issued subpoenas to NFL executives to probe the workplace culture at the league’s corporate offices in both states.

The Democratic officials stated that they are utilizing their legal power to obtain information from the NFL concerning allegations of gender pay disparities, harassment, and gender and racial discrimination.
