- Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker and current California Representative, who is 83 years old, has not provided a definitive answer regarding whether she intends to seek another term in office, amid growing concerns about the age of lawmakers.
- “I haven’t been thinking much about it — yet,” Pelosi told Jonathan Martin of Politico, as part of a magazine feature on her and her future plans. She further added, “But I will. When I need to, I will.”
- “Let’s just go back about six years and we had Dianne, we had Barbara [Boxer], we had Jackie Speier,” said Pelosi. “Now Jackie is gone, so we’ll see.”
