- Midday incident occurred in San Carlos, California, street Thursday victims children, 1- and 7-year-old, reportedly watched.
- Victim’s family say suspect was unemployed, aspiring rapper who also was perhaps schizophrenic.
- Solano is thought to have killed victim with samurai-type sword and reportedly has “extensive, violent criminal past and a history of mental illness.”
