• The number of Americans who believe that now is a good time to buy a house has hit a record low, a new poll has found.
• Only 21% of Americans featured in a new Gallup poll say that now is a good time to buy a house, marking a nine-point decrease since last year and a whopping 32-point decrease from 2021.
• From 1978 to 2021, at least half of respondents believed it was a good time to buy a house. But in 2023, 78% of those polled said it was a bad time.
